Whoa! My blog is still alive! Woohoo! Good thing my bestfriend and I listed down all the movies we saw last year so here goes…
2002 (In alphabetical order):
• 40 Days and 40 Nights
Not as funny as we expected it to be but we were entertained nonetheless.
• A Beautiful Mind
I saw this on VCD and I loved it. All thumbs up!
• A Walk To Remember
This is what I classify as a Sharon Cuneta movie. Not that I’ve seen a Sharon Cuneta film or worse, that I’m a Sharon Cuneta expert, It’s just that it’s so typically Sharon. The lead being a singer and falling in love then you know what happens.
• About a Boy
Light. I like this film.
• American Adobo
How can I forget this film? There were lots of funny and memorable scenes in and out of the movie. Oh, yeah! You got that right. Most of the entertaining scenes were from Jom, Rock, and, of course, Jamee the bang-your-head on the seat girl!
• Austin Powers: Goldmember
Funny! Bastos yet funny!
• Bakit Papa?
Eew! There has got to be only one word to describe this film – TRAUMATIC! Jeez! This is the reason why the Philippine movie industry sucks! Big time! People should not see these kinds of films! Avoid it at all costs! Well, unless you want to have time to organize your phonebook! Sayang yung pisong binayad ko sa movie na ito! WAAAH! (some fag gave us passes to this movie which is the only reason we saw it.)
• Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever
Ok. Enjoyed it.
• Behind Enemy Lines
Saw this on VCD. Cool! Enjoyed a lot.
• Big Fat Liar
Who recommended this movie? Elsa!!! I will never ask for any recommendations from you again! Hehe! I got bored! Big time!
• Black Hawk Down
Saw this on VCD again. Lots of really cool action!
• Blow Dry
Saw this with Elsa and Jom. If it weren’t for their company, I would have committed suicide inside the movie house!
• Burlesk Queen Ngayon
You call this bold? Flat is more like it! No story! No good acting! No whatever! Waiting for a strand of my eyelashes to fall is way more entertaining than this flick!
• Die Another Day
Well, it’s a James Bond movie. What would you expect?
• Eight-legged Freaks
Hmmm… whatever!
• Ghost Ship
I just love the scene where everyone in the ship died almost simultaneously! Very original! If only for that, this movie is worth your buck!
• Halloween: The Ressurection
Ok.
• Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The long wait was so worth it.
• Hubog
Ok. I think.
• I Am Sam
Light. Touching. Inspiring. I want to see it again.
• Ice Age
Hilarious! It’s an LOL kind of movie! HAHAHAHAHA!
• Jackass
The title speaks for itself. Whoever made this movie is definitely a jackass! Nothing more! Lower, probably but nothing more!
• Jimmy Neutron
Saw this on VCD. Entertaining.
• Jologs
Surprisingly Good. We were entertained. We got so into the movie that we were watching on the floor of the movie house beside the trash bin holding sopdrinks in one hand and siopao in the other. WAhahaha!
• K-19: The Widowmaker
Ok.
• Kailangan Kita
Surprisingly nice. Never thought Bicol could be that beautiful. Lots of food, too! Lousy ending, though.
• Killing Me Softly
The title speaks for itself – in a good and bad way. You know what I mean.
• MIB II
Nice. The first one was funnier, though. Can’t forget the coughing man behind us, though. I think this is the movie that made us realize we never want to see a movie in Ali Mall ever again.
• Minority Report
Good. Enjoyed it a lot! I’d love to see it again. Lots of cool action and special effects.
• Mr. Deeds
Ok. A typical Adam Sandler movie. Nothing new.
• Murder by Numbers
I’d have to say that this is a good movie if only for the fact that it has a scene that startled Jom off his pants! Haha!
• Panic Room
Good. Love the cinematography! Love it when cameras tell the story!
• Reign of Fire
Ok. Very hot. Literally.
• Resident Evil
Almost as scary as the rpg.
• Road to Perdition
Good. Heavy in the chest, though.
• Scooby Doo
Entertaining! Shaggy rocks! And Scooby, too!

Saw this on VCD. Nice story and the way it was told.
